Your Honor Will Be Restored Again

You have been much maligned because of your humble origins: your intellect, your skin color, your gender, your qualifications, your socioeconomic level, your background, your ethnicity, your size, your accent and/or your life experiences.

The people who malign you think that you don’t measure up to their standards of perfection, therefore, they believe that it is their duty to point out your ‘deficiencies’ for all to see. Their intention is to hurt, humiliate, debase and embarrass you. They are hell-bent on destroying you – psychically, spiritually, mentally, physically. These people believe that in doing so (especially for the benefit of an audience) it shows how deserving you are of their ridicule and they of their wisdom.

In times like these, remember of Whom you really are: The child of El Roi, He Who Sees Me.

He sees everything: your heart, their heart; your mind, their mind; your tears and their laughter. He sees your vindication and your elevation.

Rest assured that He is always in charge, He always walks with you, He always turns their evil to your good, that He always restores your honor – whether they like it or not.

So, remain calm! Be of good courage! Let your eye be upon Him!

You will give me greater honor than before and turn again and comfort me. (Psalm 71:21)
