What To Do In 2010

2010

2010

Let’s spare ourselves the usual talk on what our resolutions for the upcoming year will be. We know what usually becomes of those resolutions after reality hits. Instead, how about looking at what worked for us in the past and repeating them?

In the past, I’ve had fun with having day trips to new towns and villages. Just drive and go! I’ve also had fun with mentoring people in public speaking and computer technology. I’d like to do more of that. Additionally, I’ve loved open mic events, and didn’t get to do enough of that this year. So more next year! Oh, did I forget about going to school? I love school! I love learning new things! Check for school. Also, I didn’t get to attend a lot of public lectures and performances, like before, so I have been brutally out of touch with a lot of new advancements in current affairs, spirituality and human development. I’ll be making more time to bring myself up to speed in 2010. Most importantly, I did have great times hanging out with my friends this year, and will repeat next year.

People close to me often describe me as a natural communicator and teacher. I’d like to explore more of that by learning more and sharing more. I believe by doing more of what I am naturally suited to do, by default I will be providing less time for and attention to things that I absolutely do NOT need or want.

This is the thought: What have you enjoyed doing in the past? What would you do without the thought of payment or reward? What have people frequently complimented you on? Consider doing more of that this new year, and less of what you do not want!
